Description

I was messing in Bryce when this horrorible screen popped up. I was in the middle of making a building and I hadn't saved it. Then this screen popped up and I wanted to throw the computer against a wall. This is more or less humor to you but horror to me. Just wanted to put this up for ya'll.

Bryce has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconveniance. What a bunch of bull. Forget wanting to throw the computer, I would have.

It really does have a problem, doesn't it! What annoys me is when it says something like "This program has crashed and lost all the work you have been doing. Press OK to continue" - No, it is NOT OK!!! Thanks for sharing your pain!

I agree - this seems very humorous for the viewer and is definately the image of the week ! I personally find Bryce the Horror itself even it is fully functional with its incredible uncomfortable navigation and tranformation controls, with its one single viewport and so on...but anyway hope you can work again...

reminds me of the old 'can't close' malware. Time for the big red switch.

I have a couple of questions. 1. If you send the error report to Microsoft will it make ANY DIFFERENCE whatsoever? I mean is this actually a bug with something in Microsoft? or 2. Is this a bug with Bryce? No doubt, Microsoft would say so. And I suppose DAZ would say it is Microsoft. Don't you love it?!

Sad Very sad indeed when all your hard work goes Phffffftttt just like that and all you get is a sarcastic window saying error encountered. I myself have never had a problem like that but i have had the problem with Bryce Object presets in that when i have tried to put an object on the screen Bryce just locks up, and i have to shut it down then completely delete that particular section of the presets folder losing lots of models etc i have created..Has anyone one else had this i'd be interested to know?...

Oh my! This brings back memories! I had something very similar to this 'error report' a few years ago with another application. It seems to select one and stuffs it all up. I had to keep shutting my pc down. (I think in this case it was a malaware/virus or something so maybe get your pc checked for viruses etc.) jenny

It kind of looks virus related.
