Description

This is a still from a short I'm making. Nothing profound or overly pretentious, just to see if I can do it, and for a nice portfolio piece. This is also an assignment for my animation class. Basically, two robots playing chess. So I rendered out a production still to show people. Like yourselves, for example. I finally developed a metal shader material that pleased me, so now the board and pieces are a nice sleek mix of ceramics and metal. The robot, also, now has a similar metallic surface.

Ah chess....greatest game ever! awesome lighting and presentation. If the animation is a good as the render, you'll get an A+ no problem! can you give a link to the animation when it's done so we can see? 5 *'s -chachi Ps- (shameless plug for myself here, sorry) If you are really into chess, check out my chess renders. I think you might like them. ;)
