Excellent portrait! Very good indeed!

Great portrait. Only complain are the glasses, maybe a little too colorful in contrast to the rest of the shot ;). But this is just me babbling, very nice shot :)
Laelia
Great work : using the flash, then enhancing in contrast and colored mode your face as to give a silver and copper suntanned.. GREAT the "dourage" of glasses enhanced by a filter (Harrys nirvana ?) Please, if I am wrong, tell ..no teach me it NEVERTHELESS, it's a great idea and funny arty pic q:)
Rumple2
No, no, no Laelia... No filter, no flash, the suntan is original (lol)... the light came from a window, can be seen in the glasses... just added a little more contrast with photoshop, that's all :))
Janiss
This self-portrait is superb, a so intense glance in spite of the glasses which dissimulates it.... and this setting in original scene on black bottom is appropriate to him very well!

I actually like the glasses--they indicate your colorful sense of humor that matches the intensity of your gaze!

Excellent portrait and composition, but those candy-cane glasses have to go.

Fantastic portrait...selfportrait even which makes it even more impressive. Love the low key it really brings out alot of character in you. Very impressive.

a very beautiful portrait! i really love the dark background and your very coloured face!
Denger
Those glasses keep this from being too 'dark'! It is always refreshing to meet someone who does not take themselves too seriously. Nicely done!
PeeWee05
This is excellent in so many ways. the light, background, beard and of course the focus on the glasses, adding a touch of mystery.

Forget the reflection......I LOVE THE GLASSES!! A fantastic contrast!. Yet we can never hide behind a reflection...your eyes are pensive (Reflections yes..reflecting life, did I put carrots on the grocery list? Reflecting the dog in my yard- now i have proof! The list, why do we have to have lists? Cause you forgot the carrots yesterday and you still haven't heard the end of it silly! ) penetrating (If I look straight ahead and don't move my lips no one will know I just stubbed my toe on the tripod!! ) and earthy (I wonder if the market has any organic carrots?). Whether by design or accident, the reflection is a perfect touch...the glasses a wonderful contrast in color...we all need a little color in our lives..how would we be able to reflect.
odie
Nice... it is like a floating specter.... there you are a bit scary. BUT, your eyes shine with warmth that you cannot hide! It balances out the coolness of the overall image. LOVE the green in the lenses. Very nice image, as you know. :0)
