Description

Hmm.... This turned out rather well, I think. I've been trying to achieve realism, and I think I've got it. Only thing I can do is improve even more. Must admit NO POST WORK WAS DONE!! NO BUMP MAPS WERE USED EITHER!! NO SKIN SHADER'S!! , and NO Z BRUSH!! Render was done in Firefly actually used Poser 7. Basic lighting was used with IBL and AO. Thats it in a nutshell. Wonderful work! it does take a bit of light tweaking, but I got similar results with thorne/sarsa product 'Claudia'. these characters have great detail! Excellent render!

Well, I think she turned out great and the detail is very evident in what you did with the textures, especially without bump maps. The only thing is...I'm still trying to figure out V3! LOL! I don't have the slightest idea of character design and I can't really offer any critiques, but I think you did a fantastic job with her and I know it's quite a process to do so! Must feel like quite an accomplishment to finish a brand new V4 character and to have learned all that you did! Now...if you need some advice on trees, weeds, and shrubberies then I could talk your head off for hours! LOL! Excellent work on Zaundria!!

Very good texture as far as I can tell, for an oil-painting-esque render. I love the expressiveness of the eyes, although I might be a wee bit careful about the ambient color, as black can quickly make an image seem a bit too deep. Subtler tones may help you achieve that more photorealistic texture you were looking for. And overall, that is just a matter for the render. The textures really speak for themselves ... just awesome work! Bravo!

Sorry I'm so late on this, Jonathan. "rosity sets their message alert so far to the side, it's practically off my screen. It's easy to miss sometimes. This looks incrediable - very real. You've really come along way. I don't see how this one could be improved. Great work.
