Description


Another shot from the Vasa Museum. When they recovered the ship, they found the skeletons of some of the victims. Using modern forensic techniques, they recreated the faces of the victims from casts of the skulls. The realism was spooky and the display allowed you to get so close it seemed like they must be real. This is the helmsman who was steering the boat as she sank.
