Description

This totally wasn't what I had in mind when I started. I wanted to create a texture map for windows. Ones that don't just look like white blocks, but rather that give a sense of an interior. I was going to create a building, but hey, this was a test. It's teh freighter model. I just split up each pontoon and tweaked it a bit and with the new windows it's scale has shot up. This is now one big mother, rather than just being big. Anyway, I hope the windows look like there is life going on in this ship. Thanks for looking.

Looks damn fine ..just wondering ..when you use a bump map to push up the window frames ..does it not look even better then is already is... They all look different but flat same as the wall with the windowframes ... The image it self give a Huge feel of dept and space Good work!!

Nice! Beautiful sense of scale. This ship looks great. Maybe increasing the "glossyness" of the window texture would make it more glass - like. Possibly also sinking the blacks would add even more to the depth of the window texture. Lastly, perhaps some of the windows should be a little more yellow (like incandescents) and others more greenish (like fluorescents)indicating rooms of very different purposes.

Hmm... I think this would work great as a building; it just doesn't have that, uh, "spaceshippiness" to it. In any case, your windows look better than anything I've been able to make. Keep on keepin' on :)
