i don't use lightwave,(heretic bryce user) but i can relate to what you talk about here, wow - this is going to be awsome when its done! i wish a lot more artists would share more of the creative processes (and problems) with the community at large. can't wait to see the final image!

Had no ebot for this one yet, just to let you know it's mayhem in ebots again lol I guess I know you better than I thought... yesterday I was very surprised when I saw your first picture and what you were planning. I was thinking, he's not patient enough, he's impulsive, wants quick results, gets easily bored and all, but I bit my tongue, I wasn't going to discourage you. Then I read the comment you added afterwards, saying this would be a challenge for you and how you needed support lol Well I won't let you weaken... he he! This already looks really good and realistic (well except for the water, yes). I like the tilt of the camera. Good beginning, fun to watch.

Yeah Dragontales... But i have a render farm on my dreamboard... lol Just think about this for a sec... Imagine 100 dual core 3.4 Ghz render nodes... Now, THAT would ROCK!!! A 10 hour render would take 6 minues...

Just terrific Walle! I was so fascinated by the run down of what you have done and the steps of what got you here so far. I have found reading the steps and plans so interesting. Cant wait to see the next folow up...Shannon ;}

I think it would be kinda cool if there were cracks or craters were the alien machines legs have punctured the ground and have the back of the building in the forground to the right of the machine collapsed in on itself. but i certainly like how this image is turning out

Thanks folks! :) Nope - Cruise is not gonna end up an ruin it... LOL Nice idea Korda - with collapsing one of the buildings, and creating crates in the ground for the alien legs. Great stuff - thanks!
