Hello there!
Sooooo....what do one say in these "bios"? Hmmmm.....Im actually just typing this because im bored at work and i have finished commenting on what i intended to comment on....i suppose i could actually do some of the stuff they are paying me to do, but what would only be even more boring. LOL.
So anyhoo....my real name is Andreas Stridsberg and i live in Sweden. Ive been a member of RR since....well i have no idea. 2-3 years perhaps? And i just recently got my own print-store of my photographs up and running at my own website. So if youre financially independent and wish to contribute to MY well-being...i suggest you go buy some. LOL.
In conclusion i just wish to add this:
I LOVE THIS SITE!!!!!!
I have never been a part of a more friendly or more helpful community than this one. Im proud to have gotten to know so many wonderful and talented people. #:o)

P.S. Surprisingly many has told me that these last dropshots of mine has been out of focus and blurry...so i reckon youre gonna hate this one then. LOL. Truth be told though...that does actually strike me as rather odd....since these are infact some of the sharper dropshots ive ever posted. So maybe its because milk looks softer than water or something. #:o/
TwoPynts
They ARE the sharpest drop shot's youve taken by far...strange. I guess people need to calibrate their monitors too. :) This one is so wicked with the amber drop emerging from the white, and the little white alien pizza floating above. Happy Birthday Dave! -- I know he's gonna like this one. And if you don't mind, I'll take it as a Happy Bday for me as well. ;'P Cheers Andreas of the North!

Love how the white and brown colors divide, very cool. Its an interesting series to say at least :D

I hadn't really notice lack of focus on the other ones but the first thing that hit me with this one is the blur. Don't know... it could be my monitor or it could be my vision. No matter how many "focals" they add to my lens, I still seem to have problems seeing. Up to Tri-focals now -- do they have quad-focals??? Nice shot anyway, Andreas, and good luck with your calibration efforts.

Oooh!!! Youll get your own tomorrow Kort. #;o)

superbly done ! Happy birthday Punaguy !

Well - maybe the shot was taken not perfectly straight - that would explain the difference in focus from the top (less focus) to the bottom (perfect focus). Anyway - nice one - again!

Zacko this is another fantastic image, i really like d colors & the compo. And about ur images looking blurry, its because its milk. i tried using milk once for my drop shots, but they ended up looking out of focus even though it was the sharpest i could get. Anyway these ur new drops r really good, love to c some more.

Holy cow, this is good. Amazing capture, part of it looks like blown and streched glass right out of the furnace. What's with the rotating pizza dough? Very cool capture!!

This is the favorite of the lot so far! How did you manage to seperate the liquids!?! Never mind I would never try this anyway! Happy birthday to Dave and Two Pynts! BJ

Beautiful shot ! @ MrsLubner : I got "progressive" glasses, and it ain't much better ;-) Myope, i can take them off, to approach the screen and count the pixels... Yes there is a slight blur -- and I dont' care ! Better, even, I think this slight unsharpness indicates a "remnant" of the movement, and it has me lean back, and look to the image as a whole. I don't know where it comes from. In #1, the left border is sharp, front is depth of field, right side is object speed/strobe time - so what !? Its great ! Have a cup of coffee... :-)

I like very much the 2 colours in the drop lower.. and yes. I see some blur also.. and I think my monitor is right with calibration.. but Is a great work buddy. You should make a copyright of your technique.. LOL. Good day there.. and warm weekend?... maybe?.. LOL
stuart83
Sharpest one of this series, I agree about the bottom being sharper than the top, but you also have to consider the viscosities & colours of the liquids, having said that........Awesome shot Stuart
