Description

An updated in-progress of my P-47 aircraft model. Since the previous posted image more detail has been added and is much closer to the painting stage. Also made a fully poseable pilot figure that was 'boned' in Poser 5 because I find that easier to joint figures (must get to grips with Mocca!) Started to make a suitable Maxwell material that will allow the alloy underneath to be shown when painted with an intended two colour blue paint scheme. Most of the working parts are now seperated from the main meshes and use simple Expresso controllers to move them. Have learnt a lot from making this model and makes a change from watching RealFlow particles. Thank you for taking a look.

This sparks my interest - such a clean work, perfect proportions, you are doing a very fine job, I may write. She is going to be a real heavy Thunderbolt. She can fly through a brick wall...

daveef: I haven't bothered with the materials too much at this point because it's still a work in progress. The large sphere is generally how the finished model model will be - using a two layered material.
