Description

Hello everyone. This is the view from the top of a hill in Argyll called "The Brack". The Brack sits at the end of Glen Croe above the curiously named "Rest and be thankful" road. You can make out the road climbing up the glen on the right. If you ever have to cycle up it, you'll know where it gets its name! The hill-top on the left is called "Beinn an Lochain", and out of interest if you want to see the view from that top, looking toward the this top, the Brack, follow this link... http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1341934&member Thanks for viewing

Gorgeous shot! I love the bands and melding colors. The road looks like a fine one and inviting as well especially if you like a challenge.

I shall rest and be thankful, right here in Glasgow, Anthony. I cannot cycle, and am having difficulty even walking these days, but I can still enjoy the scenery. Yesterday I managed to get out and about, and succeeded in capturing a shot or two, of a mythical creature - namely the wee haggis ( circa 2005 ) which is on show within the Ancient Scotland section of the refurbished Glasgow Museum and Art Gallery, on the ground floor. I may post once I reduce its jpg size etc.. Regards, John.
