My intended "posting schedule" was interrupted last night due to an email I got from a fellow artist & friend. I was very saddened to read of his decision to quit posting on R'osity, due to, as he put it, "The Trolls are the one's did me in."
Granted, most of us post here to have fun, meet new friends--if we're lucky, and maybe some "social interaction." There is a smaller group of us, who, having very SERIOUS physical disabilities for various reasons, create art as a form of therapy. My friend & I are part of that group. In my case, having been right handed my whole life, 2 years ago, I had to learn how to do EVERYTHING left handed, so since I'm recognized as being very good at what I do, it may come as no surprise if I tell you readers that my subscription art site profits buys my new dual core system, any software I want, and pays my server fees.
Ever since I cleaned out my gallery here the last time, all my postings here are 6 months to a year old.
My little revenge on the Trolls. Why should I post new stuff for crude, rude & unappreciative people who're so self centered they can't leave a comment. When folks who've commented, write me asking for an unoptimized desktop copy, I give them one freely. The Trolls need to learn that "What goes around, comes around!" It might take awhile; but at my age, I can promise you, IT does happen.
Also there's a thumbnail brouhaha going on. I hate to say it, but R'osity as an art/artist's site, seems to be sinking down to the lowest common MINORITY denominator. IMHO, Renderosity, as an American based company, needs to quit pandering to foreign interests.

SAZ is back. Rave on my friend. Again, I publicly announce I may not agree with everything you say and do, but I will defend your right to do it, because you paid your dues above and beyond defending my rights.

Well you have to feed the trolls now and then. Bothers me more when I see others at the point of attack of a troll.

Trolls stealing our art issues aside, would you care to elaborate on the last part of your comment? If you think about my commentary, look at my gallery stats -- you'll notice I'm constantly under "Troll attack." Thanks~SAZ~

Love the shiney textures, fantastic scene. And as for rendo... I've had my own issues with this place and haven't been around for months and months. Seems the place hasn't changed at all. It's still driving good artists away with their biggotted policies. LOL Anyway, I'll shut up and enjoy the artwork. I can't think of the bad but have to focuse on the good or I'll be heading back into limbo. HUGS Maria

It is always sad to see someone leave here as I have no idea where to look for them. I don't understand the censorship, as it has been the bane of artists forever. How many of todays treasured masterpieces were reviled and spat upon when thet first got done? How many would still be here in museums if people didn't love them? Anyone old enough to log on is able to decide for themselves whether or not to look at whatever is here. If it offends you DON"T LOOK! I do understand the frustration and rage the artists here go through, it is just sad to loose them. Great piece SAZ, there's a sense of movement in the darkness, as if it't attempting to ooze it's way over everything. Or maybe I shouldn't have read your comment first. It may be colouring my perception of your piece, which I love! BJ
