My Prints: batoruco DesignsBIOI started using computers for digital art back in 1992, as a result of my work as a Research and Development manager for Mexico's biggest ceramic tile manufacturer's research center.
In 2001, I created some of the first WinAmp Art Skins, including Looking for myself and Bloodless.
Bloodless was regarded as the first cubist skin ever. There were more than one million downloads of these skins, specialized books and magazines throughout the world published them.
In 2003, a digital painting of mine:
Kingdom_of_Magog Kingdom of Magog
was selected by Linspire , creators of the Linspire OS, as part of their OS system.
In March 2004, as batoruco , my digitalPsiche, I became Top Author at Skinbase where I am still at the top with a gallery of more than 500 art pieces. Apart from the massive downloading of my WinAmp skins, my digital paintings have been downloaded more than 30,000 times from DeviantArt and more than 100,000 times from Skinbase .
I am one of the three original founders of Apophysis, a widely succesful community of fractalists, that has caused a major influence in young artists.
My style goes mainly around what I would call Digital Paintings:
I also love to make album covers and graphic material for a hoax progressive rock band called Sparrow my own dream band! :
I am a bloodless robot
I am a heartless machine
Just an I.D. list number
Sometimes I even wonder
If I really exist!
I am a beatless singer
I am a soundless song
Just a dissonant 13th sound chord
Sometimes I say the word
When I can't find no one!
I am a wordless poem
I am a meaningless truth
Just a non sense bad rhyme
Just as senseless as time
And as useless as youth!
I am a skinless spirit
I am a lifeless soul
Uncircumstantial essence
Sometimes I feel your presence
But I can't see you at all !

Do I sense the influence of Picasso, Braque, and that amazing cubist period. Cubism liberated future generations of artists continues to extend our imaginations. I'm not sure how the fingers of your blues player would survive handling this instrument, but I much like the conception. It sings to me without any visible strumming.
