Description

My first experiment with dupliverts. The tree, shrub and vine are all done with dupliverts, but the flowers are individual copies. The textures are all photographs of something, except that the far hills were painted by me in Dogwaffle. (I live near Seattle, and that combination of water and land is a pretty common view around here. Our landscape was shaped by retreating glaciers.) Michele saw this when it was in process, and wanted me to let her move in so she would have a place to play in her kayak. When it was done, I sent it to her and she said, "OMG, where's my kayak? Someone stole it!" I explained that because it's called "Waiting for Michele," she's actually out in the kayak and WE are waiting for HER! I guess she overly identified with the POV. :)
