Description
I wasn't sure which gallery to put this in because the scene was composited in Poser 7, I then imported it into Carrara 5 adjusted the Poser lighting, set the camera and rendered. To my mind it is a Poser work because the bulk of it was carried out there, I know some won't agree but I see the render engine as being a bit like postwork.
Talking of which I haven't postworked this image - the upright figure has skin with far too much shine on it and her facial expression is awful, not sure where the highlights in the seated figures hair came form either - probably my cackhanded light fiddling.Quite happy with the composition and the camera angle though.
This is my first render with Carrara and I know it is not great but I can only get better.

Well you did a lot better than my first import into Carrara (should I say 'Try' lol) my perfectly posed girl ended up in the middle of the couch in default pose, the wall had disappeared, the rug that 'was' in front of the couch was behind it... and...and...and I gave up and rendered in Poser lol! Excellently done scene and work, love the reflections and the wonderfully posed character on the chair!!!

Actually, it's not bad at all! :-) I think the standing figure looks like a mannequin come to life.
