Description

This painting became real after I saw one other artists character that was inspired by another artist work. I have seen it many times , last time I saw it and something snaped in my head (guess it is called inspiration), so I started this piece which was in my mind for long time. This painting represents my blend version of human-mantis, as I called it MANtis, species.I admire mantis insects, they look so unearthly,inteligent and alien-like.

Guys, dunno what to say, Im starting blushing,, thx alot for such positivity, Im so glad I made such painting that evokes feelings by the viewer. Inkwolf_ It took some 5-6 days on and off. I work in television company, so I dont have enough free time, atleest enough I'd like to spend painting more. Cos sometimes after 10 or more hours looking at monitor on real job,, I can't get my self to do it again 5-6 hours when I'm back from work. Anyway, THX A BUNCH. This made me happy. Seeya.

Absolutely a fantastic work of art. I love the expression you captured. You said in your nates that Mantis's have an intelligent look, well you have certainly captured that! The way you brought in the fingers is truly inspired. Truly imaginative and very cool.
