Description

As I had to face the fact that I'm not able to sleep early today (although I wanted...) because I'm simply not used to it I finished this image instead ;o) This is my second attempt to a series I started looong ago (with V2 when I remember right) and that made me curse when I reached the 10th image because I had no more ideas and the rest was a permanent fight with my muse. Now, with more clothes, poses, characters and a far faster and better poser I thought I'd give it another try - most of all because the series gives me the chance to dig out some older things that sleep in my runtime and combine them with new ones. The basic idea is a bit strange. Whenever I have pain or feel fear I have my personal mandala: I try to remember the colors of all 15 balls with the matching numbers. Sounds easy heh?! Okay, now try this while the dentist is fumbling around with a syringe! Know what I mean?! And I found that everyone who plays pool has a favorite ball (mine is the 12) - so I tried to give each ball it's matching counterpart-pinup and hope you'll enjoy the series! With the light I tried to achieve a look close to airbrush but still with enough 3D-appear left. Technical: The suit is an "oldie" done by Baron Vlad Harkonnen, it's not available any longer. The pumps are made by idler and are available at DAZ. The ball was made by Digital-Lion, it has a second outer surface to get a look like if it's covered with a thick layer of clear varnish (not sooo visible here because of the light). The frame was made by Leo, too - he had the idea to make the frame part of the image for this series instead of adding it in postwork like I do with all of my other work. Some touch ups on the joints in Photoshop, the rest left as is - stay tuned for the blue No. 2!

Wow...this looks amazing! Nice idea...sort of like some of the deck of cards sets I've seen others start with, but a much smaller set to work with. Gorgeous! Can't wait to see the next. :)

Drop me a line if I should send them - they have more depht then the first version although You let look them fantastic ^^ Hope You had not to count all balls more than once today ;)

Had to look as you are one of my fav's & ya did good . I have only been doing this for a few months and my runtime is not just sleeping it is a nightmare. I have been wanting to start making sub-directories ,but am afraid it will goof things up. Items like hair are everywhere from figures, to props, to duh hair.
