I would call it "Moonglow". The dark background reminds me of night and the soft satin appearance of cloth glowing in the light of the moon is what this reminds me of. I also get the feeling of a small wind blowing the cloth gracefully in the night air. This is really beautiful with wonderful earth colors. Wonderful abstract Jill. Hugs, x:)

One could sit and stare and meditate and come up with all sorts of things....sorry, though, it's too early for me to think up a title :o) Very cool Ms Elf :o) ~ Hugs ~

Too bad "Sweet Honey in the Rock" has already been taken! "Silken Thunder" comes to mind. Also, "Amber Fantasy" and "Geology Rocks!" These last two don't quite do it for me, but I don't know what sort of thing flips your skirt.

Underground Ochaco Skull Thunder With Several Warped Circles That's what I'd call it. "Ocho(sic)co Skull Thunder" would be the ultimate title; or maybe "(sic)skuLL thUNDER)on the HALF SHELL" but that's just me, Jilly p.s. your Dad's goings on today stumped google In this image I see you looking outward toward light. ok (SIC)SKULL THUNDER ON THE HALF SHELL that's what I would call it ok so sue me or sow me; the absurd is an abiding appeal dru

A glorious creation Jill, love the flow and swirls. Sensual colours here too. I see the head of an eagle before the white section in the centre.. I think artwith title, ROCKS.. Moonglow is a wonderful title. Been sitting here staring wracking my brain!! Cannot come up with better. Happy day for you. hugs. Diane.

I'm not sure a different name is needed. Sometimes with abstract pictures there is a danger that this can restrict the direction of mind of the viewer if it is too specific ... vague titles are usually more effective unless you [as the artist] have something very particular in mind. For me the shine and bright passages among the earthy colours reminds me of a Gerard Manley Hopkins poem: "No wonder of it: sheer plod makes plough down sillion Shine, and blue-bleak embers, ah my dear, Fall, gall themselves, and gash gold-vermillion." From: The Windhover Mike

Lol on the title. Thanks for all the comments and suggestions. I too am sitting over coffee and can't come up with a title ;) Perhaps Mike is right, the power of abstracts is that they let the viewers mind journey where it might. Have a wonderful Sunday everyone, stay warm, and enjoy the java :)
