Description

I thought the moon prop with Elfdance-Charmed was so cute I just had to do a render. Then I turned the moon into an area light but in order to get it bright enough to ligh the scene, the features were lost. So although it's still an area light it isn't lighting the scene. Thanks for stopping and looking. :)

Well, it might not light the scene but it looks very intersting. And excellent too - an effect you probably wouldn't have achieved when you would have wanted it. I found that you have to turn up area lights heavily to achieve any effect - way too heavily. AND, the bigger the items are the more difficult it is.
