Description

Another Place Just above Liverpool on the Mersey estuary is a the area of Crosby. Artist Antony Gormley was commissioned and produce 100 life-size, iron figures rising out of the sand According to Antony Gormley "Another Place harnesses the ebb and flow of the tide to explore man's relationship with nature." The image shows one of the figures with Liverpool on the left sky line. Hope some of you like the image and history Eddie

The reflection on the wet sand is amazing. Almost a natural sepia. And such a musically historical place to. "Ferry 'cross the Mersey" is now playing in my head. Wonderful picture.

Absolutely perfect, Eddie. Sublime work here. I love this one. I was not aware that Gormley had done this work. Would sure love to see them for myself one day. Not too far away from North Yorkshire. Diane.
