To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.
Brightest Blessings to you all!
Heather
 Mina's daughter
Thanks to all for stopping by and hope you enjoy your visit.

I must plead ignorance about Monsignor Gainsbourg. I do, however, like this...just like the story behind the recording the hidden woman adds a mystique. -Rob

Mina, this is my favorite of all your work, except the one you did for me. This is gorgeous. Yes, you should call it Art! Stunning! I try to remember the song, but doubt it would ever get to our shores. Besides, there was so much controversy all the time, I don't think I could pick it out if it did make it here.

Yes! I definitely call this art! Thank you dear Mina ... I sincerely treasure this image and the kind and expansive musings/inspiration that brought it into being. Definitely a "favorite" and thank you for not mentioning that embarrassing little incident with Whitney Houston. LOL. Serge is gone but we can be thankful that his legacy lives on through his daughter Charlotte. Thank you again, dear Mina.

Ah, ah, tr bon cette phrase de Serge Gainsbourg !

I remember the song [and the scandal surrounding it] very well - it was certainly ground-breaking for its time. The sensual and mysterious image has a feeling of promise for the future, if only one could take the plunge ... There are some things we may know on the fringes of feeling more subtle than thought deeper than words. You may seek these things in the passing glance, the lightest touch, the merest brush of lips and in the making of the search who knows what we may come to know? Mike
