Description

For hundreds of years they had worshiped the Goddess of fire, in peace and harmony. Then the invaders came destroying everything. They began to ransack the simple place where they had worshiped their Goddess. Suddenly a burst of flame and there she was at the altar

Critique group. The flames in the foreground a too alike. You need greater variance there. I think you could also up the epic quality by adding smoke to the flames. Finally, I would make the fire around the figure smaller and more detailed. As it is now, it looks very much like she's standing in a cone of fire.
