I am so pleased to be a member here at Renderosity. For me Renderosity is much more than a place to display my works. I have made many friend's here. I take so many photographs but I do not like to have my own photograph taken.. I actually like this shot. I say a huge thank you, to My Goha for postworking this shot for me. The original shot was taken up at my friend's house. He put this wonderful swing in the largest tree on his land! Iccle pushes me up so high!! The swing is over precipice, so not for the faint hearted... but such fun.. I love to be at their house and feel like a child again on this swing. I will tell you why I choose my RR name, "Rainbows". When my niece Victoria was a very little girl, she used to say to me.. Auntie DiDi "I love you, all the world and rainbows". I love her just as much as she loves me. She is older now and our love for each other is so strong. A beautiful day is wished for you all. Hugs. Diane.

well, this version in b&w give more mood, but I prefer the version color :)

I like the B&W !

Hard to say Di, even after looking several times. The colour version is the most easily interpreted as "beautiful" and appealing scenery, although the B&W has a poignancy, mood, stark contrasts and will linger longer in my mind.

This one has more mood, more coldness to it. You're more drawn to the cross then in the color version. Excellent study in b/w.

I am a complete sucker for Celtic crosses...have two around my neck right now. LOL. This photograph is excellent. -Rob

They are both bautiful Diane and each has it's own merits. For me it is a really tough call. The color version could be said to be more "beautiful" but the black and white version is to me a more powerful image. Very nice work on both of them! John

Hh.. I recognize this cross... Very difficult to decide... both versions have their own merit and purpose... You could also have tried a sepia conversion... (I keep both in my folder... Thank you Didi !) Kisses & bisous !
