Description
This is how I created Kibble (of my Fig & Kibble comics). I put together this 'table' of expressions so that all I had to do was drag and drop them into the strip as required. Strangely I haven't used any of the expressions with eyelids. I'm not sure why, but they just didn't seem to fit.

Oooh oooh oooh! Can I vote? I think the eyelids give Kibble a personality that doesn't match the one you've created so far. The middle row, with eyelids only on the top, make him look coy or sardonic or any number of things I don't see Kibble as being. The right-hand column with the slanted eyelids make him look sort of mean. With two eyelids, both bottom and top, he looks sort of stoned and/or Mr. Magoo-ish. I think the top eyelids with the eyeballs half covered are perfect for your avatar, though. It implies a connection between you and your creation, yet keeps you separate. I shall eagerly await the next installment!

That's it! Thanks auntiek, now I know why the other eyes didn't work. All it takes some times is a little outside perspective.
