Description

This image was commisioned as a tribute for Bryan Chism, an American Soldier serving in Iraq. Bryan's squad was ambushed Jan 20, 2007 and he was killed during the fight. No matter what your view on the war may be remember that husbands, wives, son's and daughters are giving selflessly of themselves every single day. We live in the land of the free because it's the home of the brave. Next time you see a service man or woman, shake their hand and tell them thank you.

The image is well done. My condolences to the family. And all my respect goes out to those who serve to keep us free. They are definitely the real heroes.

This is Truely a fine work of art, Raddar you have captured the saddness and pure reality of how something like war can take and change live's. Ive taken a moment to pray that this ends soon, If I had one wish that would be that we all as humans rise above War and that peace is a commen practice world wide. Thank you for sharing such a wounderful Image,. God bless all those out there as we enjoy the freedom they have given us. CHEERs.....

Great tribute indeed, a loss of a known person is always a drama and i fully understand it. I remember what happened in france when the decision of war was set, i was against it, i'm still against today, especially when i see how many people and soldiers die in terrible conditions. Some people think to be against war means to be against soldiers, but nowadays medias can say anithing, it's so easy to manipulate images and ideas, but the facts are here. Each soldier is a human being with his own motivations and beliefs, we have no rights to directly criticize them because who are the most able to recieve blames? The ones who risk their lives for a cause or another goals, the ones wich give orders in the battlefield, or the ones wich use them for other reasons? Geopoliticals laws are terribly inhuman in these dark times...
