Description

The terrain was made with a cloud fractal shader and perlin billows instead of a normal Power fractal, so thats how I was able to get some weird structures. I used a bunch of fake stone shaders to get the very rocky terrain. I highly recommend checking out the full view for the detail. I uploaded the image at 1680x1050 ;-)

Now I was just tring to do exactly what you have done here, but mine kept crashing like a mother, and I have not figured out what I am doing wrong yet. But before the render button was hit, I had gotten something like what you have here, but I think yours is way better, not to mention mine keeps crasking ROTFL ROTFL another 10 from me /winks...hahahahalolol Also to answer a post you gave me my brother: I posted this to answer your questains in the gallery /smiles: Hay you 2 both MeltingIce and Rich2 /smiles, WOW I am honored Melt /bows, I am working with your Tuts now. /smiles.... To answer your questions: MeltingIce & Rich2: no I have not had time yet to do the fake stone Tut yet I am sorry to say. What I did was make a 4096X4096 .bmp map and brought it in under the shader tab, since if you do it in the terrain area it seems I think to go right through the camera and that is not what I wanted with this /winks. I took the photo of the rock Texture and the one I will post tomorrow. As soon as I get the texture stuff all figured out, I will return the favor and do a small Texture tut for TG2. I have not figured out how to tile the graphics at 256, or 512 yet, and what I have done I do not like, also I am working on how the mapping in the texture does work, as there seem to be features I have not gotten to work yet. Or I crash to desktop real fast /chuckles...... Your Tut's MeltingIce are fantastic and have helped me a lot, thanks so much, and I just found another one of yours /winks I plan to get into later today. Thank you 2 so much for stopping by /smiles......
