Description
Some of you may know I made a robot hand in Bryce a few years back. I rendered it a little while ago in bryce 6.0. There are a few problems with the model. Mainly that I modelled it fixed, so I can't pose it. Also it's Bryce primitives, which would take a few years for Bryce to convert to an OBJ. SO , this morning, I started again. This time in Wings and with the intention of using Carrara's Bone commands. Which I've never used before.
So here is a VERY early WIP of the hand and I've put a small AVI here to show the boning (boneing?) in practice. 20 joints in all, which makes a very cluttered model, but I'm just amazed it worked like I expected it to.
Long live Carrara!
