Description

I was born upon a prairie where the wind blew free and there was nothing to break the light of the sun. I was born where there were no enclosures and where everything drew a free breath. I want to die there, and not within walls. Ten Bears - Yamparika Comanche Graphite on vellum. A note: I have always found that the People have the most wonderful respect for their elders. I only wish others did as well. Cherish them and listen to their words, for much can be learned... My deepest thanks to you all for your continued support and encouragement. It's what keeps me striving to do even better. Both here in the 2d gallery and in my terragen works (neglected of late due to an increase of 'drawing' time) I've done a few more in this current series of the People, but have not yet had them put to disc.

It would be wonderful that in our days people had respect to our elders as the Indians had, for sure much can be learned listening them. Wonderful sentiment in this drawing and words ;O)
