Description
I entered a competition in Forbidden Whispers a couple of weeks ago. The idea was to produce an image based on a theme of "Corrosion Hunters" and on a few lines of text that were given
"A single touch feeds death
Twisted bodies of broken bone and melted wire
The villagers hide in the corner of shadows
As the hunters prowl the streets
The horses breath burns the flesh from their bones"
Paul Garrard wanted people to think outside the box.
I found it difficult to think of a picture and then I thought it would be interesting to do it as a more modern theme - with backstreets. Shiny motorbikes parked under lights, a couple of dogs howling (I was sure I read dogs but obviously not ) and one figure almost a silhouette hidden in the roof tops. A bit of oddity in the lights and a light mist around. I wanted people to use their imagination to fill in the story of what was happening and where
Well, to cut a long story short I actually won
I was amazed but I am now the proud owner - or will be - of an A1 print of one of Paul's prints which he is posting from UK
Posed in DAZ Studio but rendered in Bryce

At first i thought it looked a bit dark, but in full view it was just right. The one thing i think you could work on is the fog/smoke in the lights, it seems a bit like a material on a cone and not like smoke. Now im not any good with bryce so i cant really give any advice on how, but i think it could be done with post work as well.
