Description
My favorite jacket provided this subject. I love Harris Tweed (Tweed is made on the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides) it is so hard wearing and this jacket will probably out last me.
Many thanks to all of you for viewing and/or commenting on my last image.

Would I be right in thinking that these are the buttons of the tweed jacket! Great macro shot, again, and great lighting.

Tweed is tough stuff and helps make this a great image with the multicolored threads. One minor quibble is the highlight in the button, it seems a bit to harsh. I would try changing the lighting if reshooting this one.

Add me to the list of admirers of this macro capture, my friend. The object is most unique.

Now the real question? I remember being very small and I had a jacket made of tweed,I hated it because it consantly itched. As a result Sunday school wasn't a big hit either....And I vaguely remember for some strange reason I liked to suck one of the buttons. :@ Chuckle Thx Another great capture! Maybe light too harsh or maybe TP has his monitor too bright....lol or mine too low.Wonderful combination of shapes and textures. :B eaver !
