Description
This old mine building stands above the town of Central City, Colorado. The first big boom in this area was the gold rush of 1859. At one time this area was called the richest square mile on earth. Today they have discovered a new gold here in the form of low stake gambling casinos.

Ah, I have seen many of these in my day. Thanks for the lovely trip down memory lane. Did not know they had casinos now. Is that state wide? Wonder if there any in the southern part of the state where I was raised. This is a nice shot, really like the color here.
