Description

G'day. This is a differnt angle of yesterdays praying mantis. They have cute eyes that follow your actions everywhere!! It is about an inch long (will grow to about 2 to 3 inches) and she was quite happy to sit for the photographer!! Enjoy Louise

You achieved great clarity on the eyes and they are very cute in that they follow one, even turning the head. One of the few insects which can articulate like that.

Nice shot. I discovered last year that they also bite. I never knew that and have handled these things all of my life. Not anymore though. I learned the hard way. :-)
