Description

I painted the flower petals in Dogwaffle. (With a mouse pen - I've upgraded!) Everything else was done in Blender. My friend JG, who is an avid gardener, loves my flower paintings, but isn't wild about my 3-D work. (He actually isn't fond of 3-D in general. Jeez - some people!) I showed him "Peach Dream," and he allowed as how 3-D might be okay after all, and could I make him some lilies? I am happy to report that he likes everything about this image except the marble countertop, and I can live with that. ps - Look at this in the largest format you can - smaller versions of this image tend to have jaggies.

Yay! Glad you're liking this! It's one of my favorites, too. Thanks so much for your kind feedback! Ja-Seek - I don't use the pen in Blender. It's pretty cumbersome in that application. The techie wizards in my life have set me up with my regular mouse AND the mouse pen so I can switch back and forth without doing anything fancy. They're both "live" all the time. I only use the pen to paint.

Dang, Tara - you need to get back into doing 3D - this just blows me away! I love it ALL - including the marble tabletop! Of course, I'm an incurable 3D-junkie since I started dabbling with Poser, but still.... I mean, just look at the glass, and the refraction in the glass/water... Perfect!!
