Description
This mountain pass links Strathspey to Braemaer and was a drovers route. The name means Pass of the Dru.The pass is 22 miles long, mostly easy walking however the section in the view has a large boulder field and I marvel at cattle being sent this way.
Photo taken from Aviemore some six miles away in the last hour of the day.
trivia.....this was the location where the Mosquito bombers were filmed for 633 Squadron as it was standing in for a Norwegian Fjiord.
