"Work Frees?" A photo composite? If so, very well done. I know the story of the riddle, but can't quite apply it here. Neat image though. 'The famous riddle asked by the Greek Sphinx: "Which creature in the morning goes on four feet, at noon on two, and in the evening upon three?"'

Arbeit Macht Frei is german for freedom through work. It was a nazi sign posted up in concentration camps. Not unlike the propaganda we believe today." Work will set you free." Nice to see you know your Oedipus Rex. I was thinking more about what the Sphinx represents. The mystery of existence. You can see the Sphinx hidden in the background. The rest of the image is more blatant. The symbols of power and commodification. lit in the pyramid light of the all seeing eye. That was my intention. Finally, yes it is a photo composite. I've done a lot of travelling recently. The only thing that's not mine is the Leonardo pic.
