Description


Here are shots of the two extremes of the woodpeckers that live in my area. The little fellow on the bottom is a downy woodpecker: average size is about 6" (15 cm.) The big guy on top is a pileated woodpecker. who is around 17" (43 cm.) Hope you enjoy them. Comments and critiques are welcome and appreciated. Exif info. How congenial! Very exceptional to see the bird at the top, the ones we have related to that bird only reaches about 10" in overall length. Excellent color.
