hey i make web comics an its the only best thing i done in a while... i make web comics an banners, an so sue me if i like sonic... anyway why ya think i'm here i wanna learn stuff, yes a 17 year old that whats to learn... appently a 17 year old who's all ready lost it... to many dots...

Hey Mr. 17 year old, I and others on this site appreciate art... but we have to be able to see it. Your picture is no bigger than a coin. We want to see it as the size of the moniter and be able to enlarge it and make comments on your art - heck, some of us are down right honest and brutal and tell you how it is... I know you just joined on this site, so please, take the time to read the rules. You will learn a lot here and as an artist myself, I have to tell you this is the first time in years that I have been able to talk and ask advice from other artist. If you see some art that you don't like, leave it alone, don't post you suck or something like that. Basically, this site is for us artist - get out of it what you will, but enjoy. ...You're 17 you say... Sonic was around before you were born. Create something new for us older gernerations to marvel at. When I was a child, cartoons were on from 5 to 11 am on saturdays. All cartoonists spent some time to prepare them. The last 20 years, the cartoon industry has gone backwords, TheY have choppy frame motion... they try there best to show the characters without moving their mouth - emotion on the face is very limited and usually stuck on angry mode. ...You are young, the world needs artwork like ToyStory, IceAge, Shrek... Sonic is good for video games, but as a cartoon... educate yourself, reach for your own characters and create them - dream it, goal it and do it. MAKE YOUR PICTURES BIGGER, MUCH BIGGER.

welp, he said it. i agree with just about everything he said. but i do like sonic, i remember the day it came out on the sega genesis. but rehashing old stuff like this gets old....very fast. if you are this into comics and whatnot, create an original character. good k=luck with it all and remember,we are all artists here that like to help out however we can... :) -chachi

aimed at: mikeerson what in fucks name! ok buddy, for the "If you see some art that you don't like, leave it alone, don't post you suck or something like that" comment i get the feeling your not fond of the younger generation! i can be an idiot sometimes but i ain't gonna insult someones work like that! i have a heart, next sonic came out in 92 i was born in 1990, so screw you a second time. an yes sonic does look better on games, hence why i also agree with your comment about cartoons, the only cartoons i do watch are looney toons, anyway, you want me to educate myself, trust me i have, i'm facinated by the 3D art, a few of my favorite artists being "Gilles Tran, Patrick Pirker, George Grie, J Bois, R Sanders, Carlo Traversi, Raphael Lacoste, Cristi Mihaescu" just to name a few. also get to know someone before you go all gun hoe on me, ok, i understand if ya not fond of young people, yeah join the club, i hate youths to! i love 3D art, all the people who worked on the film "Final Fantasy - Advent Children" should be given a medal in my opinion. Raphael Lacoste and Cristi Mihaescu are to of my favorite digital artists. if you've never seen their work you should, i'll gladly send some of their art to you if you've never seen them, cause they really should be seen, same with any of the other artists i mentioned. personally i say feel free to be brutal, this is only a practise pic to see how the uploading thing went through, i have small bits of 3D art i've worked on, but kinda embarrased to post it, just know, if i scence ya just being damn right out of order on me, i can come down you like a tone of bricks an i'm not afraid of following up house calls if threats are made against me ok. also Chachi, thank you, i know i may need help in the future, good to know there are some kinda souls on here
