Description

This is my first ever public render I was told by a good friend who teaches 3dmax that no true 3D artist would use Bryce. lol who knows Character - Cait for v3 - modified morphs and skin work by me Messy Hair by Kozaburo Scorpio Rising set and outfit by Aery Soul Vehicle: Pitbull by Sanctum art scratch built wrench to show a few more batteries that were hidden in the render I created my own terrain to support the S-Rising set and repositioned some things. Touch up for Hair (slightly), neon glow, and wrenchglow in CS2 Thanks again MB

Awesome render! I guess the guy who teaches studio max has'nt looked at your render or never checked out the Bryce gallery here. Fantastic scene, very cool! 5+

I like it. It brings the right atmosphere. The details are nicely laid out. About your friend's comment about Bryce, all I have to say is that if I can get 95% of the work done in 5% of the time, that's a good compromise for me. Life is made of compromises, and so is art.

Additional Everything you see in that image is in bryce, every shadow every shape and background object every reflection and detail. I have always had a problem with folks who render somthing then Photoshop the crap out of it. If you import my lighting and character and props into your Bryce this is exactly what you would get. I wanted it to be pure Bryce. As the comment states though I did have to adjust her hair abit. Bryce doesn't do well with some of Poser's hair objects. It can't quite get the transparencies right. Could be that the authors hair alpha's arent black enough I'm not sure. And I tried to add a sphere light into the main obj to get that glow but nothing worked right so I did photoshop that. Thanks so much for the great comments

Great piece. Bryce has pros and cons like any software. If you see Rochr's images in both Bryce and Cinema 4d you will see that both are equally brilliant as Rudy (Rochr) is a master of whichever medium he chooses to use!!! You mate saying what he/she said is like saying a true sci-fi artist only uses acrylics to paint! Art is subjective as is the medium used. That's the beauty of expression. Hey what do I know I am still a novice with Bryce and always learning. Good luck with future projects. Real talent!!!!
