Description
Deer Mouse - Peromyscus maniculatus
The deer mouse is a very common to North America, and was with out doubt the small mammal I caught the most of during the research portion of my undergraduate project. The tail is distinctly bicolored, a dark upper surface and white under surface so they are easy to distinguish.
