Description
This was the original 1.5 million polygons sculpt I did in Silo 2 to test out the facial features of the Binrai to see if they'd look good in 3D. Often what looks good on paper won't translate well into a 3D model, so a quick sculpt is a great way to get a feel for things. I used the human face in the bottom corner as a starting point for the sculpt.
The body's done on the full character I posted earlier, there's just some minor extras to add. I'm making some eyes and a tounge (his teeth are in already too). After that, it's on to UVMapping and rig work (I also have a test rig done for him already from an earlier version- http://www.art-by-teyon.com/images/models/rig_test001.jpg). Once that's all planned out, I've got to add his clothing....joy. :)

Nice work My computer cried when it saw this. 1.5 million polygons really need to get soem ram and a decent vid card.

Fantastic creature work! He reminds me very slightly of the old creature from the black lagoon. Although that monster was more of a troglodyte than this guy. Excellent work, my friend! :o)
