Lol! Maybe not so unusual to see this in the future. Gangs are headed into the wood and bringing the drugs and guns with them....like a disease spreading. Great job of putting this together :)

Strange contrast of life with that ugly mess relocated out in the otherwise pristine countryside. The dark, brooding clouds add a lot to the scene. Excellent postwork!

If you didn't say you put this together I never would have known! Great job of postwork and a very cool looking scene. It certainly doesn't look unusual, I can imagine seeing it in lots of places.

Nice photo Jocko! The structures sure look rundown and neglected, but with work the wood could be nailed back, the shigles put in place and it all painted, this would stop or slow down the decay and allow these buildings to be used for something. Then again someone in the area needs to want to do this and have the time and a bit of money to make it happen and a use for the space if the do fix 'em up. Else the beauty of nature and plant life will cover then up eventually, and that could be a good thing to!

Dear Jock, Until I read your notes, I thought it was all one picture. You can find places like this everywhere. I drove by a grown up spot like this the last time I went to downtown Houston. The place was only a mile or so from downtown - and very covered in graffiti. It seems to be spreading everywhere. Terrific job of photo compositing!! Id have never known it without your notes. The ominous clouds really do make the ruined building even more foreboding!!! Excellent photos and photo manipulation Love ya!!! Meredith Meredith Elaine Wilson - MeredithLand

Wood frame loses it's reliability once the roof fails. Even cinderblock can't resist the rain without some sort of cover.
