Description
I hope you'll feel free to imagine that this is your beach place, and that you've just gone inside for something and are now returning to sit and watch the sun go down. I swear - sometimes I look at this and can see the wind chimes move.
This image is for Einzie1's lovely wife, who has graciously supported my efforts at learning Blender. She loans me her husband AND likes my work!
All the modeling in this image was done by me. (The chair was WAY fun!) Grass clumps are dupliverts.
I'm still catching up, posting older images. This one is from about the end of December, so it doesn't contain anything representative of the cool things I've learned from those of you who have so generously shared information! (You know who you are.) :)

Mmmm...makes me wish I was there. I grew up 2 hours from the beach, and spent many weekends looking at vistas just like this. You captured the feeling beautifully!

very nice image. Love the small details, the glass of wine, the basket filled with treasures, the windchimes and lighting on the porch. I have a chair exactly like this one, weathered and gray. Very warm, inviting :)
