Description
G'day.
This is a western australian gum tree flower(Eucalyptus Ficifolia).
It is grown as an ornamental small tree (up to 4m) all around Australia.
It has brilliant red, pink or cream flowers.
The flower heads are approx 3 to 4cm wide when open and it has the cutest little buds which have hats that fall off when flowering.
This one is from my garden.
