Description

I escaped from the house in the sunshine today. I visited Sandsend a spot close by. I walked the beach, it was beautiful. I was Just walking back to the jeep when I saw these glorious steps. They are in a private garden. I would not walk in, I needed YOU PJ!! I was looking, longing at them, when an old gentleman came out from within the house. He said "come on in lass if you want to take a photograph". He was so kind. I took several shots. Another, I shall post tomorrow of kilns in his garden!!! Forgive me, I am way behind in everything at present. Not enough hours in the day :-( Happy eventime and hugs. Diane.

Sandset looks soo welcoming and so inviting.... if only we can ascend those steps to see what is beyond.... most welcoming photograph, superb POV. The way the light bounces of the stones is incredible, and adds such warmth to this image! The branches up top covered in green are gorgeous, makes me just want to climb up only to touch them! A very beautiful capture, my friend! Thank you so much....! Just want to let you know that Im thinking of you and Sir David--and sending you both, my love!

What a lovely shot, of such a beautiful place. I love to see the stones all worn like that. Each step could tell a thousand stories of the feet that have passed. Thank the gentleman for me if you see him again. Thanks BJ

Super steps, you could imagine them leading anywhere. They must be so old as they are so worn down so must have an amazing history to tell.
