Description

I think I'll end Redrope Redo Week with this one. Still have a few more to do, but don't want to burn folks out. I'm glad that I decided to rework these images. By keeping the same scene idea, the images themselves are now greatly improved. Thanks for all the comments on these and the Redrope Project. *** Made the grass by using spikes on a 4096 res terrain and sinking it way down till only the tip showed through the ground. Treetrunk lattice was drawn in terrain editor, Bryce tree leaves with invisible trunk. Rope done in Photoshop (mesh in grass). Original can be seen here: Redrope #44

Now that is really clever, using the Bryce leaves but hiding the nasty trunk! It makes a lovely image. I especially like the small round trees in the distance!

Red rope sure knows how to have a good time. Your tree has evolved tremendously from the original, as have all of your details. Wonderful stuff Dave [=

I truly like this one a great deal. Just the whole piece and its POV, I guess. and I like the rocks and the little grassy hump out of which the tree is growing.
