As minerals and ore became rare on earth. the gigantic corprations seeked profit elsewhere. They funded several spacetravel programs, which ultimately succeeded. Not nations stretched the borders of human space, it were the corporations who employed brave men and women, gave them a fast starship and sent them into deep space to find valuable ressources and suitable planets for colonization...
