This landscape might not be realism, but i hope it helps compliment the feeling of the figure

yeah dont really care for the backdrop...but the figure alone on lets say....a white background with some txt would look mighty sweet....

I think the colouring you have used captures the mood but the figure doesn't quite become a part of the image.

I'm going to be different and say I like the combination of background and figure, I feel it makes for a compelling image...but the grain (or digital artifacts) in the person and the immediate background are a bit distracting, could you up the res on the these maybe? :-)>

i think this one is one of the best i've seen here... like the colors, the mood.. only thing wrong here is jpg compression.
