Description
Loxodonta Africana is the biological name for the African Elephant.
Info:
Height - 3,4m and weight - 3 500kg.
The biggest land animal in the world. Leather type skin and the trunk is 1,5m in length. Big ears and teeth. Needs alot of water and food. (300kg food and 200 liters of water per day) Lives in small families and the bulls lives on their own in groups. Will defend when the kalves are in danger. But otherwise timid.
Carries for 22 months and kalfs weighs 120kg. They only have kalves every 3-4 years...
