Patience Wishing upon a star one night Wanting no longer to be a loner Setting free the feelings And emotions that have been tied in knots Peeking out is the sun wanting to shine As the clouds disappear one by one Laughing has begun As the prison walls begin to crumble Living the free spirit life Would be the greatest gift of all _________________________________________ This one is back Decided to share how much I love that delete button With just a few words that were once spoken Still can bring a smile

A hopeful piece of writing which moves from wishing to hope and then onwards and upwards to the intention to live the 'free spirit life'. I'm pleased also to note that you're expanding your ideas, which turns a list [however meaningful] into a progression. Well done, Linda. Mike

Wonderful poem, Linda. Yes, transformation, or process. It is so interesting to look back and see the things that prepared us for taking step in a new direction. When we learn to observe ourselves as keenly as we observe others, we take a giant step towards living the free spirit life. I can see you do that very well. x:)
