BIO
My name is Ivan Lees, an Englishman from sunny Manchester. Introduced to Fractal Explorer just about 18 months ago now. Never produced any works of art before ( except DIY ). Like the search for images rather than 'polishing' them. Do not use PP other than "Clarity" and "sharper" in Psp. Have a fixation on FE because I like it's simplistic challenges. Nearing retirement ( 6 years to go officailly, unless they change the goalposts ). Themes in fractals I concentrate on are Flight, nature, fantasy and humour. Mind you I'll pick on anything that catches my eye. My Bio?? Pretty boring really so I'll save you the time. I must have written the above 2 years ago since ( Feb 2007 ) I have only 4 years to retirement. Lot changed since, including my job. I'm now semi-retired and help with Fractal Explorer Mailing List. I also enjoy fractals so much I started a chat group called Polemic Fractals to help up and coming users. It's fallen apart since ( Jan 2008 ) but much of the material has been moved to Dredger's Chaos within fractalfairy.com domain and am gathering a modest collection of hints on how to squeeze more out of FE. I don't yet have a web site to call my own but I do have a Fotki space where sample images, which lead to those I send in here and FE, under Dredger handle, are rapidly accumulating. I dislike deleting fractals so it's a mixture of ideas and interests. I'm slowly coming out of my life long shell. I also have another hang up. Most of what I see here I adore, but I cannot usually say why. Same with my images, I find faults easier to spot. I also do not wish to be tempted away from FE just yet, so although I ocassionally visit I find myself tongue tied drinking in the sights. One day Fractal Explorer may no longer satisfy me but I get this strange feeling such a day is a long way away

It looks more like a tsunami. You should take dindin's little fractal chicken and see if he can surf it. This is an awesome pic!
