Just hand a whim to take a picture of some chess pieces... I was not too happy with the results but its worth uploading :)

Yes it's very much worth uploading. I really like the textures of the pieces (that's aged look is suppose you could say) As far as the background goes, this would hard for me to answer considering I work with 3d art. You could rather blur is like your did or keep the back pieces sharp and let it give more depth. Either way..excellent shot:) Sam

yup - worth uploading, certainly catches the eye and the pawns all lined up like that look like they are in some weird motion blur on a multiple exposure...i might have given him a bit more room to "move into" in the compo but apart from that i like it :)

Yes it is worth uploading as it is one of the best chess shots I have come accross on R'osity....I have tried a few times to get a good chessboard shot but have never been happy with my results.
